Supporting Agency: Health Institutes of Türkiye (TÜSEB) – Research Project
Principal Investigator (PI): H. O. Keleş
Project Period: 2023–2024

Description:
This project investigates the development of surgical skills and performance using a longitudinal multimodal assessment framework. Surgical residents are evaluated through behavioral performance measures together with physiological and neurophysiological signals during surgical training tasks. The project aims to identify objective markers of skill acquisition, mental workload, motor control, and expertise development and to contribute to more quantitative and evidence-based approaches to surgical education.
